About therole
The purpose of this role isto ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmentalregulations across multiple sites. In this role you will act as astrategic leader for safety implementation and development, workingclosely with site management and relevant teams to promote a safeand healthy work environment. This is a strategic role that notonly provides autonomy but also plays a pivotal role inidverde's organisational expansion andgrowth.
Responsibilities
* Ensure strict adherence to health and safetypolicies, procedures, and performance standards on-site.
* Lead incident investigations and offer support tomanagement and colleagues when needed.
* Takethe lead in developing, reviewing, and updating policies andprocedures to align with legal obligations and industry bestpractices.
* Conduct thorough inspections andaudits, diligently monitoring recommendations and driving theimplementation of improvements.
* Play a pivotalrole in mentoring and developing junior team members, providingguidance and support in their professional growth.
Requirements
* Demonstrated experience of working within aHealth and Safety role
* Strong communicationand personal skills and can work autonomously withoutsupport
* Ideally a NEBOSH or minimum IOSH -NEBOSH training can be provided
* The ability tolead and influence others.
* You must be astrategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a demonstrable trackrecord of leadership impact.
