Salary range £28,598 - £31,022 Pro rata Permanent The Executive Headteacher and Governors of Leighswood School are seeking to appoint a committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in our KS2 Specialist Resourced Provision classrooms which will open in the autumn term. This is a brand-new role as we are opening our Specialist Resourced Provision for children with Communication and Interaction needs. The successful candidate will work in classes with a Class Teacher, at least 1 additional Teaching Assistant and up to 8 children. The successful candidate will work alongside our SENCo, KS2 Specialist Resource Provision Teacher and wider Inclusion Team, as well as our dedicated team of teachers and teaching support staff. The successful candidate will have access to, and work closely with, Cadmus Inclusive who provide exceptional SEN advice and support for schools across and beyond Walsall. We need someone who: Is a highly skilled teaching assistant Has a passion and enthusiasm for inclusive education. Is inspiring and energetic. Demonstrates enthusiasm, initiative, and flexibility.
