Are you a creative graduate with a genuine passion for interiors, furniture and product design?
Maybe you’ve completed a placement year, gained some industry exposure, or you’re currently in your first design role and looking for a business where you can have more creative input and long-term progression?
If so, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing, design-led interiors business looking to add a talented Product / Furniture Designer to their collaborative team. This is a newly created role offering the chance to work closely with senior leaders and play a key part in developing commercially successful products for the home interiors market.
This is not a role where you’ll be sat quietly tweaking drawings all day. It’s hands-on, varied and creative — ideal for someone who enjoys seeing ideas develop from initial concept through to finished product.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Supporting the design and development of furniture and interior products
2. Producing sketches, renders, CAD drawings and presentation visuals
3. Researching trends, materials, finishes and emerging styles
4. Working alongside product, design and supplier teams to bring ideas to life
5. Contributing to customer presentations and product proposals
6. Helping ensure designs are both visually exciting and commercially viable
What we’re looking for:
7. A degree in Product Design, Furniture Design, Industrial Design or similar
8. Some practical design experience — this could be through industry placements, internships, freelance work or a first permanent role
9. Strong CAD and Adobe Creative Suite skills
10. A genuine interest in interiors, furniture and contemporary design trends
11. Someone ambitious, organised and keen to develop within a fast-paced commercial environment
12. A collaborative personality with the confidence to share ideas and contribute creatively
What’s on offer:
13. A genuinely exciting opportunity to grow within a creative, expanding business
14. Exposure to the full product development lifecycle
15. A supportive, design-focused environment where your ideas are valued
16. Long-term progression opportunities
17. Staff perks and employee benefits
18. Early finish on Fridays
This role would suit a graduate with some commercial exposure, or a “second jobber” looking to take the next step in their design career within a business where they can really make an impact.
