Are you passionate about supporting children and young people in Middlesbrough? We are looking for a dedicated Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team in a small, nurturing home for children who cannot currently live with their families.
As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care that meets the physical, emotional, social, and developmental needs of children with complex emotional and behavioural challenges, mental health disorders, and additional needs. You'll be part of a team committed to therapeutic approaches and restorative practices, helping children thrive in a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements:
* QCF Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to undertake)
* Experience working with children and young people
* Understanding of child development and challenging behaviour
* Positive attitude and ability to build relationships
* Willingness to work unsocial hours including weekends, nights, and bank holidays
