Description ADI Snap One is now looking to recruit an RMA Technician- Technical Returns Administrator to join our Fulfillment and Quality team at our Middleton site. This is a key technical role supporting our returns and repair operations, where precision, problem-solving, and collaboration are essential. As an RMA Technician, you will be responsible for evaluating, testing, and repairing returned products, supporting root cause analysis, and ensuring accurate processing through our ERP systems. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and fulfillment teams, and play a vital role in maintaining high standards of service and operational excellence. JOB DUTIES Technical Evaluation & Repair Troubleshoot, test, and repair returned products down to component level. Perform soldering on through-hole and surface mount components. Read and interpret schematic diagrams and follow test procedures. Identify operational issues and inconsistencies in returned units. Process & System Management Ensure all RMA procedures are followed, including ERP updates and product disposition. Accurately process and document returned products using business resource systems. Support Return to Vendor (RTV) processes and internal quality investigations. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with fulfillment operators, engineers, and product owners to resolve issues. Communicate clearly with internal teams and external dealers regarding product status and defects. Assist in training team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. YOU MUST HAVE Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in electronics. WE VALUE Experience with home automation and entertainment hardware (Linux, XML). Understanding of networking protocols including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and ZigBee. Technical School or Higher Education. Certification. Soldering experience and attention to detail in component-level repair. Ability to communicate root cause findings to engineering, tech support, and suppliers.
