Job Summary

Ensures that Program Management and Commercial Management activities across the Global Civil Aerostructures Business Line are executed in a compliant and best-practice manner by:

1. Establishing, developing, maintaining, and driving adherence to standardized, best-practice methodologies, processes, and tools
2. Ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory governance requirements
3. Additionally, provides decision-support insights and contributes to building a mature Program Management and Commercial (PM&C) organization.

Job Responsibilities

4. Provides functional leadership and guidance to Program Management & Commercial (PM&C) teams across the global Civil Aerostructures business by:
5. Defining and deploying best practices to ensure consistency and excellence in PM&C activities.
6. Driving adherence to standards and governance through the development and embedding of robust processes.
7. Offering professional support, coaching, and functional guidance to PM&C staff worldwide to enable their success.
8. Supporting the Talent Review process from a PM&C perspective to ensure the right resources, skills, and capabilities are in place to deliver functional and business strategies.
9. Collaborating with stakeholders to design and implement effective tools and templates that enhance PM&C processes.
10. Identifying training needs and overseeing deployment of relevant courses across the global Civil Aerostructures business.
11. Maintaining accessibility to a centralized knowledge base for program management, commercial practices, and compliance risk management.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

12. Proficient and experienced in GKN Aerospace program and commercial processes, standards, and best practices
13. Ability to coach, mentor, and train team members to build capability and confidence
14. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively
15. Proven experience in influencing and fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams
16. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or 3–5 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

17. Experienced in leading within a matrix organization, with a proven ability to motivate, develop, and empower teams
18. Certified to IPMA Level C or equivalent
19. Extensive experience in commercial roles, including contract management, proposal management, business modelling, and estimating
20. Demonstrated success in managing significant programs or large teams at both tactical and strategic levels
