Become a trusted ambassador for our hotels and takeadvantage of the opportunity to move between properties, achieving the serviceand product delivery standards for the department with a high degree ofcustomer care and service.Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Deputy Director of Finance, you will beresponsible for:· Overseeingall aspects of the financial performance of our group of hotels in London.· Providingfinancial advice, support and expertise to various stakeholders & hotelmanagers.· To ensurea rigorous financial control and reporting environment.·Responsible for preparing and reviewing the consolidated management accountsfor all hotels.· Holdsweekly credit meetings and payroll meetings with hotel managers and managementaccountants.· Ensurehotels forecast is done in detail and set a culture of establishing weeklypayroll costs and expenses tracking with a view to project hotels’ profit withdegree of accuracy. Take actions as required to ensure objectives are met.· To supportfinancial director for the preparation of new SOPs and implementing them.·Continually review and develop best practice financial accounting and controlprocedures to maximise impact, efficiency and reduce risk.· Supportand ensure proper month-end and year end closing. Ensure all intercompanyaccounts balance.· RegularBalance Sheet reviews for all hotels, in conjunction with managementaccountants. Ensuring all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and are fullysupported with backups and all variance explained. Highlight un-reconciled andunbalanced account differences to financial director monthly.· Supportand development of the management accountants, including quarterly and annualperformance reviews.· Buildingrelationships with the Senior Leadership team and using your expertise tosupport with decision making.· Leadmonthly finance meeting with management accountants and the team.· Supportingfinancial director with the hotels budgeting process; ensuring the completionof accurate and reliable budgets.·Maintaining and monitoring a rigorous system of internal control, in accordancewith Finance SOP’s.·Responsible for the annual audit for all hotels.· Regularreview of Capex reconciliation for all hotels.· Preparingand filing VAT returns.Requirements and skills· Arelevant hospitality finance qualification or part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA orACA) or qualified-by-experience.· Previousexperience as finance manager within the hotel/hospitality/leisure sectors,ideally within a multi-site environment.· Experienceof using Sage Intact and Opera.·Experienced in the production of management information alongside the provisionof supportive commentary.· Collaborativeand empowering team dynamics.· Pathwaysfor promotions and growth within the brand.·Recognition and Rewards Program.· Access toan array of discounts via our Benefits Platform.·Comprehensive training through Certified Classroom and E-Learnings.· 28holidays annually, inclusive of 8 bank holidays.
