You will be highly organized individual who is used to working on your own initiative. You will have excellent IT skills and will be confident using Microsoft office and other data management systems. However, most importantly, you will be passionate about making things better for our most vulnerable children and ensuring that they get the best opportunities to fulfil their potential.
About us
This post will be part of Trafford’s Virtual School and the post holder will support the team in its work to promote the education of looked after children, previously looked after children and Children in Need. This role is one of two Deputy Head roles within the service, reporting to the Virtual School Head and overseeing the work of our SEND Lead, Previously Looked After Children and Children in Need Lead and Wellbeing Lead. This Deputy Head will also oversee our Service Level Agreements with our Speech and Language Therapist and Educational Psychologist.
