Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an AHCS registered respiratory physiologist to join our friendly team of respiratory physiologists at the respiratory lab at Liverpool University Hospitals (Aintree Site).
Responsibilities
* Perform full studies, challenge testing, field exercise testing and respiratory muscle function studies.
* Assist the lab manager and other staff in the routine running and administration of the respiratory function laboratory.
* Provide cover and support to pre‑op exercise testing.
* Develop yourself in additional areas of respiratory physiology as required for the good of the team and your future career.
Qualifications
* AHCS registration, or working towards registration.
* Experience in performing full studies, challenge testing, field exercise testing and respiratory muscle function studies.
* Willingness to learn additional areas of respiratory physiology.
* Suitable for aspiring physiologists moving upwards from an associate practitioner role (salary at Annex 21 of band 6).
