A very exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Advisor to join our team at our site in Saltash, with a planned move to our new site in Plymouth in late spring 2025.
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Liaising with customers on site, via phone and email.
2. Liaising with customers regarding work being carried out on their vehicle.
3. Sales and upselling of labour hours.
4. Selling service plans along with promotional accessories and programs.
5. Invoicing and following manufacturer warranty procedures.
6. Planning and scheduling customer vehicles to align with their maintenance plans.
7. Conducting customer satisfaction follow-up calls.
8. Understanding workshop efficiencies and the importance of correctly loading the workshop diary.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND REQUIREMENTS
1. Knowledge of automotive systems, including basic vehicle layout, functions, and parts location.
2. Ability to remain positive in stressful situations when handling customer conflicts.
3. Ability to work independently or as part of a team when necessary.
4. Comfort working in a busy, active, and challenging environment.
5. Exceptional attention to detail.
6. Understanding of warranty guidelines and accurate application.
7. Previous experience with Kerridge/PSA systems is beneficial.
8. High level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
HOURS OF WORK
Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, totaling 45 hours per week, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
