A Production Operator is required to carry out a range of duties as part of a busy team within the Pharmaceutical Production Unit. This can include the Aseptic, Sterile and Non-Sterile production units. All work is performed in a ‘clean-room’ environment, which requires changing into and working in specialised clothing and some confirmed areas. The Pharmacy Production Operator will be required to undertake a minimum of 12months on the job training to develop the necessary skills, competence, and knowledge to fulfil the job requirements Job Summary Undertakes the routine preparation of all ‘products’ produced at Stockport Pharmaceuticals under the terms of the Medicines Licence (specials). Carries out under supervision Aseptic manufacturing Sterile manufacturing Non-sterile manufacturing Repacking of solid dose product Over labelling Anaphylaxis drug pack preparation/replacement Develop technical skills to perform these duties carefully and accurately, with a requirement to concentrate To be personally responsible for strictly following all procedures and Guidance documents to ensure a quality product is produced to Good Manufacturing Practice (G.M.P.) standards. To wear the designated ‘clean room’ clothing correctly and work at a level that maintains the required environmental stands essential to the production.
