The Role As a Client Account Executive, youll be a key link between clients, logistics, warehouse, transport and finance teams. Reporting to the Sales Manager, youll manage enquiries from first contact through to post-event follow-up, ensuring a seamless client experience at every stage.
Youll be working in a demanding, competitive environment where responsiveness, accuracy and commercial awareness are essential.
Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of clients
Handle incoming sales enquiries promptly and professionally
Create, amend and manage quotes and orders using a bespoke CRM system
Proactively chase unconverted quotes and identify upselling opportunities
Act as the main point of contact for client queries, changes and requests
Coordinate closely with logistics, transport and warehouse teams on timings and amendments
Liaise with finance on payments, account terms, loss and breakage
Conduct post-event feedback calls and regular client check-ins
Maintain agreed KPIs and contribute to overall sales performance
Support wider sales, warehouse and operational activity as required
Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years experience in sales and/or client account management
Strong customer service background
Confident, professional telephone manner
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks
Proactive, self-motivated and commercially minded
Comfortable working with numbers and pricing
Experience using CRM systems
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
