Vacancy: Admin Support / PA
Due to successive growth of the company, we now have a new vacancy for an Admin Support/PA professional to join us at our Calne head office in Wiltshire, where you will be working for a professional accountancy practice as part of the Administration Team. As a firm, we have an excellent reputation with our clients across Wiltshire and Gloucestershire and further afield. The Role
Permanent Role – Full Time Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
You will be required to undertake administration‑based tasks alongside general office duties such as answering the phone, daily postal and email correspondence, dealing with clients in person, dealing with enquiries, maintaining internal databases and paper trails efficiently and ensuring the office runs smoothly and is well supplied. You will also provide dedicated PA support to your allocated Client Portfolio Manager.
Other Duties
* Maintaining client and company records
* Communications with HMRC and Companies House
* Assisting colleagues to meet statutory deadlines (including communications with clients on their personal or company affairs)
* Money Laundering checks
* Diary management, appointments and travel
* Weekly meetings with your Client Portfolio Manager
* Maintaining relationships and communications with your Client Portfolio Manager’s client base
The role will also involve providing support for the rest of the Admin team, other Senior Accountants, the Business Manager and occasionally the Company Secretarial team.
This role would be ideally suited for someone with previous administrative experience and looking for a fresh challenge in a new team. Full training is provided alongside the role to ensure that the successful candidate has the best foundation from which to step forward.
The successful candidate will be organised and methodical with a keen eye for detail and have a confident and pleasant manner. As this role may involve travel to our other offices and events a driving licence and use of a car during the working week is essential.
Skill Base
* Educated to a minimum GCSE grade A‑C in Maths and English, with good IT skills especially the full Microsoft suite.
* The ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure and the ability to work with people of all levels are essential requirements.
