We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Legal Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions within a legal environment, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
Duties
* Process all financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including client payments and disbursements.
* Maintain meticulous records of all transactions in compliance with legal requirements.
* Prepare and reconcile bank statements, ensuring all discrepancies are promptly addressed.
* Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing and payment scheduling.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements as required.
* Liaise with clients and internal teams to resolve any financial queries or issues.
* Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for transaction management and reporting.
Skills
* Proficient in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
* Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues.
