Fire Alarm Account Manager
Salary: Up to £65,000 basic with £85,000++ OTE + 33 Days Holidays, etc
Location: South Midlands (e.g., Northampton/ Buckinghamshire), East Midlands (e.g., Leicester/ Nottinghamshire), West Midlands (e.g., Birmingham, Coventry)
About Company: Due to increased business and existing account managers being based in South East, an opportunity has arisen for a Midlands or Northern Home Counties Fire Alarm Service Sales person, or a National Account Manager. The company is stable and successful, with engineers handling service and maintenance. The role involves managing retail, commercial, and leisure clients across multiple sites needing servicing.
We are seeking a Fire Alarm Account Manager, Key Account Manager, National Account Manager, or Business Development Manager with account management skills and experience in fire alarm sales (not necessarily technical sales, more service, remedials, upgrades, and moves from existing companies).
Role Overview: We need a dynamic Fire Alarm Account Manager to join a company in the Midlands or Northern home counties. You will have warm business and accounts to develop sales from. Location flexibility is available for the right candidate with the ability to develop national or key accounts. The role involves managing and growing client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales. Experience in fire alarm systems, particularly in service sales, upgrades, and moves, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing national and key accounts.
* Provide fire safety advice and solutions regarding fire alarm systems, with design support available. Prior sales experience in fire detection is required.
* Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs, with commission incentives.
* Collaborate with internal teams for seamless service delivery.
* Stay updated on industry trends, products, and competitors.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in account management within the fire detection or fire & security industry.
* Strong sales and account management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Valid driving license.
