Housekeeping Supervisor, typically five days out of seven.
Duties:
- Assist in the management and daily operations of the housekeeping department
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all areas
- Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient guest services
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards
- Handle guest complaints and requests promptly and professionally
- Maintain a safe working environment for staff by enforcing safety regulations and procedures
Experience:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Proficient in computer systems and software relevant to the position
This role is to support the existing Housekeeping team in their role to maintain consistent standards throughout the year regardless of peak or off-peak periods and will be a hand on cleaning role in tandem with the supervisory element of the job.
