About The Role
As a Site Agent, you are an integral part of our Project Delivery Team and will be based at our Chandlers Ford branch. This role involves daily contact with Selwood stakeholders, customers, site contractors, and third-party suppliers. You need to be a confident leader with strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ensure full compliance with company administration, quality assurance, health and safety policies, and relevant legislation.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Develop strong business relationships with your team and clients, working effectively with the Project Manager to ensure efficient project implementation and monitor ongoing performance to deliver projects on time and within budget.
2. Compile and submit detailed daily and weekly project reports to the Project Manager.
3. Ensure all site paperwork is completed, compliant, approved, and sent to the relevant recipients.
4. Communicate with installation teams to ensure their involvement and recognition towards achieving company objectives.
5. Address issues from customers and internal departments professionally, seeking the best solutions for individuals and the business.
6. Review and improve working practices, systems, and procedures to ensure safe and efficient equipment turnover through installations.
7. Ensure adherence to all company policies and relevant legislation in all activities.
8. Identify and report deviations from the project plan or subcontract agreements with full reports and evidence.
9. Represent Selwood on site as the primary point of contact, handling site queries promptly and professionally.
10. Regularly assess project execution to identify areas for improvement.
11. Drive industry best practices, techniques, and company standards, ensuring team compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations for effective project delivery.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Recognised Diploma in Construction Supervision/Management.
* SMSTS certification.
* IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
* CSCS Black Managers Card.
* First Aid certification.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
* Experience in site management or similar roles.
* Engineering experience in pumping applications, pipework, or construction.
* Knowledge of safe systems of work and construction procedures.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of providing detailed advice clearly and positively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
* A full UK driving license, as travel may be required.
* Accurate record-keeping and professional report writing skills.
* Proactive, forward-thinking, with a methodical and detail-oriented approach.
