The Role
The post holder is required to provide a full administrative and secretarial service to a multidisciplinary team, including the management of information systems and the coordination of the clinical referral system. The working pattern for this role is Days – Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.
In This Key Role, You Will
* Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support, including audio/copy typing, photocopying, word processing, use of management information systems and email to facilitate the smooth and effective running of the department.
* Collect and collate all patient/performance monitoring/staff governance activity and produce all statistical information associated with this.
* Monitor and maintain the waiting list and referral system for the department.
* Collect, prioritise and distribute incoming and outgoing correspondence and telephone calls on behalf of the team and initiate action where required to ensure relevant and timely responses.
What You'll Bring
* RSA3/SVQ3/NC in Secretarial Studies or equivalent.
* Proficient IT skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and work on own initiative.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Excellent time management skills.
