SEN Teaching Assistants (x3 positions available)
Location: Kidderminster
Hours: Full-time, 5 days per week
Start Date: September 2025
Aspire are currently looking to recruit three dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join a SEN school based in Kidderminster. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs in a positive and inclusive learning environment.
The main purpose of the role:
As a Teaching Assistant, your role is essential to the support and development of our students, helping them to become successful, independent individuals within a safe and caring learning environment. You will build professional and trusted relationships with students, always prioritising their health, safety, and overall development.
This role involves supporting our teaching staff in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum both on and off site. Flexibility is key, as you may be working 1:1 with a student or supporting a small group within the classroom. Positive behaviour management is an important part of the role.
Key duties:
* Support and facilitate the learning and independence of our students
* Contribute to planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation of education programmes, plans, and reports as required
* Contribute to assessing, recording, and reporting on students' progress
* Promote and encourage independence at all times
* Keep records accurately and up to date
* Ensure safeguarding and health and safety procedures are followed at all times
* Promote the development of positive social behaviours and self-regulation skills
Please note, duties will vary and flexibility is essential. You must be prepared to adapt and support wherever needed.
