We have Support Worker opportunities for individuals to join our Outreach service across Edinburgh.

Our Edinburgh Outreach Services provide dynamic outreach services across the city within the community, in people’s own homes, as well as use of a building base.

We also have opportunities within our university/college team which would be commencing the start of the new term 2025/2026. This team provides support focusing on university/college related skills such as study skills, time management and planning.

At Autism Initiatives we provide specialist services tailored to each individual. Experience is not essential, but a genuine passion to making a difference to the lives of autistic people, as well as a positive attitude, is key to being successful in this role.

As a Support Worker you will promote the positive health and well-being of the people that you support, enabling them to have a meaningful life and encouraging them to live as independently as possible.

Given the nature of this role, successful applicants must register with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme and Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or equivalent regulatory body.

Please note we areunableto sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

The Closing Date for completed applications is Wednesday 2ndJuly 2025.

Interviews will be held in person on Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th July 2025.
