Hexagon Care Services are the largest privately owned provider of residential childcare in the country. We have over 50 Children’s Homes, 6 Crisis Intervention services, and 14 trauma informed schools across England.
We are looking to appoint an inspirational teacher to join our team at Spen Brook in Blackpool. Spen Brook, is an Ofsted rated Good School located in Blackpool for 11-16 year olds, with 24 places available to pupils with a range of complex social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH). Spen Brook is a trauma informed school, located close to motorway links and is easily accessible from other areas of the Fylde Coast and Lancashire.
The curriculum offer is broad and balanced and meets the needs of each individual student. The school also offers a range of accreditation including ASDAN, Entry Level and Functional Skills. The more academically able students will be encouraged to study BTECs and GCSEs.
We are looking to appoint a teacher with a strong understanding of learners with additional needs. A knowledge and understanding of Maths and/or Science is required for the role and the ability to focus on a tailored and bespoke approach to education.
