We are currently looking for a Polishing Shop Operative with the responsibility for polishing and buffing stainless steel parts to a high standard, while removing defects such as spots or scratches.
What you'll be doing
* Finishing / Polishing metal using polishing power tools.
* Ensuring specific polishing operations are carried out on various metals and to meet production schedule requirements.
* Operating equipment as instructed through appropriate training, reporting faults or defects to the Supervisor and cleaning equipment and surrounding areas when necessary.
* Assisting in other areas within the Sheet metal department such as Press Brake.
* Ensure that work is conducted in a safe environment according to safe practices and that PPE is worn at all times.
