Sapphire Utility Solutions are recruiting for a Streetworks Coordinator based in Bamber Bridge working on a new contract within our Traffic Management Division.
PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE MOVING TO MOSS SIDE INDUSTRIAL ESTATE IN LEYLAND - WHILST WE HAVE NOT CONFIRMED A DATE THIS IS EXPECTED TO BY THE END OF NOVEMBER 2025.
* Salary: £25,500-£28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
* Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8am-4.30pm)
* Hybrid working: 1 day per week
* Location: Bamber Bridge, Preston
* Holidays: 24 days plus bank holidays
About the Role:
As a Streetworks Coordinator on our Traffic Management division, you will administer all Streetworks permits and notices in accordance with the Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA) and New Roads & Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA).
We are seeking someone with previous experience in submitting permits and using Street Manager with the addition of having experience of using Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities:
* Operate the Street Works Register for the planning of works and events being organised on the highway
* Manage the coordination of streetworks throughout the Yorkshire area
* Working closely with Program Manager and wider team
* Managing and updating MS Excel spreadsheets
* Dealing with queries
* General administration duties
Experience and capabilities:
* Previous experience working with Permits and notices (essential)
* Knowledge of Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA) and New Roads & Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA)
* Experience of using Street Manager
* Computer literate including experience with MS Excel
* Experience in a utilities or Traffic Management background (desirable)
* Strong attention to detail / accuracy
