Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer

As a Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll take ownership of designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cloud and infrastructure services. You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. This role requires someone who can confidently present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring trust and engagement at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design and deployment of cloud infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure and related technologies.
* Act as a trusted advisor to clients, presenting solutions and guiding them through technical decisions.
* Optimise performance, cost, and security across cloud environments.
* Provide mentorship to junior engineers and act as an escalation point for complex issues.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects.
* Maintain compliance with security best practices and industry standards.
Qualifications
* Strong experience in Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
* Proven ability to present confidently to clients and stakeholders.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical jargon.
* Hands‑on experience with networking, firewalls, and security frameworks.
* Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for infrastructure management.
* Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Administrator, ITIL, or VMware are desirable.
