Senior Construction Project Manager Onshore Wind (UK & Ireland)
An exciting opportunity to be part of RWE Renewables’ UK & Ireland Construction Team. We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced project manager to oversee projects from Final Investment Decision (FID) to Commercial Operation Delivery (COD), ensuring safety, timeliness, quality, and budget adherence, including successful handover to operations. You will collaborate with talented teams within RWE Renewables.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate with local authorities, utilities, suppliers, contractors, and other relevant parties for project delivery
* Manage tendering for long lead items and negotiate payment/delivery terms
* Work with the project team to ensure timely discharge of planning conditions
* Participate in tendering and negotiation of Turbine Supply Agreement (TSA) and Balance of Plant (BoP) contracts
* Supervise and manage TSA & BoP during delivery
* Handle budgeting and scheduling for each project
* Report periodically on progress and risks
* Support and guide junior team members
* Hold industry-recognized project management qualifications such as PRINCE 2 or APMP Professional
* Maintain health and safety certifications such as SMSTS, NEBOSH, or IOSH
* Demonstrate experience negotiating within commercial contract frameworks like NEC3/4, FIDIC
* Experience in delivering utility-scale onshore wind projects
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Autodesk Viewer, and Visio or similar project management software
* A degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering is advantageous
