A look into the role
As an Assistant Manager or Manager within our Corporate Finance team you will:
* Have a major impact on our clients and our firm. We pride ourselves on the high-level standards and quality we expect from our people
* Work on the full client project Lifecyle, from pitch to completion you will be a key member of this team working alongside peers and senior individuals (Directors and Partners)
* Be a part of a close, dynamic Corporate Finance team, and work with a variety of clients across a range of sectors. and regions. This will include the opportunity to work closely with one of our sector teams, developing industry specific expertise
* Act as a trusted business advisor to our clients. We need you to always strive to build and maintain good working relationships with all colleagues and clients
* Take on wider department responsibilities, such as pitching for new work, business development, working with other service teams, and involvement in sector, regional and team-wide initiatives
* Have opportunities to develop yourself and others, driving your own development with the support of your people manager
* Have opportunities to build both internal and external networks with like-minded professionals to develop your career alongside
Knowing you’re right for us
Joining us as an Assistant Manager or Manager, the minimum criteria you’ll need is to have:
* Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, ICAS, CA (or CIPFA or CFA qualified) with post qualified experience
* Experience gained within a professional services environment or relevant Advisory firm.
* Strong knowledge of Excel
* Understanding of financial statements analysis
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong work ethic, organisational skills and ability to multitask
* Motivated and demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing, demanding and rewarding environment
* A strong understanding of quality and ethical practice in everything you do
* Strong relationship management skills

* Experience of business development and targeting
* Client-facing experience
* An active involvement in client relationship building
