Job Title: Assembly & Test (A&T) Technician Location: Wolverhampton Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:15, Friday 07:30 - 11:30 (37 hours per week) Position: Onsite Shorterm Group is currently recruiting experienced Assembly & Test Technicians for a leading aerospace engineering facility in Wolverhampton. There are openings across both the Original Equipment (OE) production team and the Global Sustainment (GS) repair station. Key Responsibilities OE Team: - Assemble and test complex aerospace actuators and subcomponents to tight tolerances. - Use precision measuring tools including micrometers, vernier calipers, and height gauges for component inspection. GS Team: - Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and survey reports on critical flight hardware. - Inspect and measure components with high precision instrumentation. General Duties: - Work from engineering drawings and component maintenance manuals (CMMs). - Complete quality audits and assume accountability for parts of the A&T process, including release to service.
