Salary: 95 - 110 per day
We are currently recruiting two dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join a welcoming and inclusive SEN school in Lyndhurst. These are full-time, long-term roles supporting children with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and complex learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with diverse SEN needs
* Assist in delivering tailored learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO
* Support students with emotional regulation, communication, and social interaction
* Help implement EHCP targets and behaviour support plans
* Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
* Assist with personal care and sensory needs where required
Requirements
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based or care settings)
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* Relevant qualifications or training in SEN (desirable but not essential)
