We are looking for a Sample Collector who is phlebotomy trained to join our team.
The Role
Location: We are looking for someone based in the Norwich or Cambridge area.
Role Responsibilities Include:
* Reporting to the Sample Collections Manager
* Collect Biological Samples from sample donors as required in accordance with current procedures and guidelines
* Be contactable by phone at all times during working hours
* Respond to email communications promptly to ensure you are up to date with procedural changes
* Samples must be sent to the relevant laboratory, as per instruction, with all relevant emails and documentation daily
* Manage own stock to maintain sufficient quantity at all times and that it is within its expiry date
* Work closely with the Collections Department Head Office staff to ensure that the department meets the demands of the business
* Participate and contribute to all training and meeting requirements relevant to your role
* Carry out Safety Critical Medicals as required (* if trained to do so)
Person Specification
* Must have own reliable transport maintained in a roadworthy manner with current MOT and insurance including for business use.
* Must hold a full UK driving licence and provide a copy of driving record when requested
