MIG Welder – Manufacturing Environment
We are currently recruiting experienced MIG Welders who take pride in producing high-quality work in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
Location: Leicester (LE4)
Working Hours:
* 06.00 – 14.30 Monday to Thursday, Friday 06.00 – 11.30
* 14.30 – 10.30pm. Monday to Thursday, Friday 11.30 – 5.00pm
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Role Overview:
1. Welding high quality components including setting up and operating a range of tooling and machinery, e.g. welders (tig, mig etc.), punches etc.
2. Welding components by using equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn, and weld pieces; setting up and measuring assemblies; selecting appropriate method of working
3. Must be able to read welding drawings and specifications
4. Complete work documents and records
5. Maintain a safe working environment, follow H&S procedures, and comply with legal regulations
6. Ensure work equipment is used appropriately by following operating instructions; troubleshoot breakdowns; perform preventative maintenance
7. Meet quality targets and maintain high quality standards
