As a People Advisor for Torbay Pharma you will play a key role in delivering support to colleagues and managers within a highly regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will take ownership of a varied caseload coaching and supporting colleagues and managers, whilst taking the lead on all things engagement, fostering a high-performance and people focused culture.
Reporting into the Chief People Officer you will work with the rest of the people team and managers to ensures our people policies and practices align with industry regulations, quality standards, and business goals.
What you can expect in a People Advisor role at TP:
* First point of contact for people-related enquiries from colleagues and managers.
* Provide guidance and coaching on all things employee relations ensuring compliance with employment law and internal policies.
* Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across TP.
* Keep up-to-date with employment legislation and advise on changes affecting the business.
* Maintain accurate HRIS records and files in line with data protection and regulatory requirements.
* Provide regular and ad-hoc people metrics reports to inform decision-making.
* Promote company values and contribute to initiatives that drive colleague engagement, diversity, well being and inclusion.
* Lead and support employee engagement initiatives (surveys, action planning, recognition programs).
* Develop and coordinate culture-building activities aligned with company values.
* Monitor engagement metrics and collaborate with stakeholders to improve outcomes.
What are we looking for:
* Previous experience working within a people department
* Solid understanding of UK employment law
* CIPD qualified or equivalent work based experience.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to adapt and thrive with change
* Proactive, organised and flexible approach to work
* Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
