Teaching Assistant
1. Based at Carlisle Infant School
2. Start Date: ASAP – Fixed Term until 31st August 2026
3. 32:25 hours per week (paid for 38 Weeks)
4. 8.45am – 15.30pm Monday - Friday
5. Salary: NJC Scale 4
Are you passionate about supporting the development of pupils with Special Educational Needs alongside other pupils?

As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide support for pupils in Key Stage One with a range of needs. You will be supporting pupils to access the curriculum, leading and managing interventions and providing any additional support as needed.
Our ideal candidate:
6. Has experience supporting children with ASC and ADHD
7. Is calm and consistent when managing behaviour
8. Has an understanding of working with children in KS1
9. Has experience of using visuals to support communication
10. Has a “can do” positive attitude
