Production Team Leader

The Role
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Team Leader will supervise a production section, managing people, materials, and processes to meet daily output, quality, cost, and safety targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead production activities from material receipt through assembly, test, and delivery
* Supervise and support Production Operators, including hands-on assembly and testing when required
* Ensure work is completed to defined procedures, standards, and quality requirements (IPC-A-610)
* Monitor performance against KPIs and drive continuous improvement
* Manage non-conformances, material shortages, and supplier returns using the ERP system
* Lead daily team (Tier 1) meetings and escalate issues as required
* Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, ESD, and FOD requirements
* Train, coach, and develop team members
* Deputise for the Production Manager when needed
About You
* Experience in a manufacturing or production environment (essential)
* Previous team leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
* Confident using ERP systems and Microsoft Office
* Strong communicator with a methodical, detail-focused approach
* Able to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
