We have a superb opportunity available for you here, if you have 3-4 years plus commercial broking sales/account management experience to join a rapidly growing commercial insurance broker in Dartford. They are very much a client-first broker, with a no‑ego culture, where ownership is encouraged and your contribution truly matters to the business. They visit all their clients here, it is one of their USP's, and they are now looking for a relationship focused Commercial Account Executive to join them, to take over a book of business currently standing at £400k income with the remit of making sure they retain this business moving forward.
You will be taking over a book of clients currently serviced by two founding Directors, so there will be a handover period, where they will take you to meet all of these clients and make sure you have everything you need to be a success. All the clients in this book have premiums from £20,000 to £100,000 and will be made up of clients in Waste Management, Ground Works, Civil Engineering, Haulage, Logistics and Transport, and risk wise will be dealing with CAR, Property, PI, EL, PL and Fleet.
This role will focus on developing and managing this portfolio of clients and you will be required to regularly go out and meet all your clients to continue to develop ongoing relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for a genuine relationship developer who thrives in a service led target-driven environment and who enjoys building long-term client relationships in these specialist client sectors.
As above you will need a minimum of 3-4 years’ commercial broking sales/account management experience, and looking to join a broker who want to reward you well for doing the best job you can.
Salary on offer is £58-£70,000 + £5k car allowance and excellent bonuses, and office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. However this broker does have an ethos of getting the job done where everyone mucks in to continue to drive the business forward for the benefit of everyone who works for them!
