 
        
        A design and manufacturing company is seeking a Field Service Engineer to commission, install, service and maintain manufacturing equipment used by their customers. The Field Service Engineer will have minimum level 3 qualifications in either Electrical or Electronic Engineering with hands‑on experience from concept to installs. The Field Service Engineer will have worked in a high‑pressure environment, be experienced in fault‑finding, and have strong customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:
 * Installation and commissioning of equipment
 * Fault finding, repairing, testing and maintaining equipment on customer sites around the world
 * Liaising with customer’s onsite ensuring their complete satisfaction
 * Offering customer training on completion of commissioning works
 * Producing engineering service reports
 * The position regularly requires travel, within the UK and overseas, and work outside of normal office hours
Person Specification:
 * Electrical/Electronic engineering qualification
 * Experience in fault finding
 * Some experience with mechanical skills
 * Proficient with power and hand tools
 * Proficient in computing skills
 * Experience with PLC control systems
 * Clean driving licence
 * Foreign language skills (desirable)
Hours: When working at HQ site – 37.5 hrs per week (½ day Friday)
Salary: £38,000 + travel stipend + OT (OTE £50–55K)
