Our client, a reputable organisation dedicated to supporting children and young people, is hiring for a dedicated Registered Manager to lead the setup of a brand-new home in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise and personal touch to a newly established environment that's ready to welcome its first residents.What you'll be doing:
* Leading the establishment of a new children's home, ensuring it meets all regulatory standards and is a safe, nurturing environment.
* Managing the referral process and having autonomy over admissions to ensure the right young people are supported.
* Overseeing day-to-day operations, staff management, and maintaining high standards of care.
* Building strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies to support positive outcomes.
* Contributing to the ongoing development of the home, adding your own stamp to create a warm, welcoming space.
What you'll bring:
* A genuine passion for working with children and young people, with a focus on their well being and development.
* Experience in managing children's homes, particularly EBD (Emotionally and Behaviourally Difficult) settings.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
