Job Description
Working alongside project delivery teams as part of our wider Performance & Reporting management team or independently with reach back support to experienced performance & reporting professionals, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Tailoring reporting processes to meet the client’s needs and aligning with best practice.
2. Deliver to performance and reporting management plans for our clients based on project requirements, maturity, and best practice.
3. Implementing, administering, and maintaining reporting systems and procedures to track project controls performance.
4. Working with the Integrated Project Team to establish a robust, integrated, well structured, accurate Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and support the change control process.
5. Roll out reporting calendars to ensure a consistent drumbeat of performance data and sufficient time to assure and analyse outputs.
6. Work with project controls to define requirements and data flows for information management systems and supporting our digital teams in their implementation.
7. Lead the development, analysis and maintenance of corporate datasets.
8. Developing project performance reports and dashboards, providing recommendations to relevant stakeholders and management to support effective decision making.
9. Training and coaching clients and less experienced team members on performance and reporting management processes and practices.
Qualifications
10. Experience undertaking reporting activities in a project or programme environment.
11. Demonstrable track record in identifying reporting and data requirements and documenting these using the appropriate types of tools and documentation is essential.
12. A project controls related qualification ( Project Planning & Controls)
13. An understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), progress reporting, forecasting and performance reporting and analysis is desirable.
14. Awareness of some Project Controls software (Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, Ecosys etc)
15. Experience in using data analysis tools ( Power BI)
16. A basic understanding of how other aspects of Project Controls (Scheduling, Cost Control, Change Control) interact with Reporting
