Salary: MPS3 and above (Inner London Pay Scale)
Contract: Full-time, 1-year fixed-term (with potential for extension)

An outstanding, inclusive, and highly regarded primary school in the heart of Islington is seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher to join its dedicated team from September 2025.
Due to the closure of a nearby school, this thriving school is expanding and will be welcoming an additional Year 6 class for the next academic year. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping a new class and making a significant impact at a crucial stage of pupils’ primary education.
The Role
You will take full responsibility for a Year 6 class for the 2025–2026 academic year. Working as part of an experienced and supportive Upper Key Stage 2 team, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, prepare pupils for their end-of-key-stage assessments (SATs), and help them transition confidently to secondary school.
You will enjoy excellent resources, strong collaborative planning, and a forward-thinking leadership team that places staff wellbeing and professional development at its core.

Who We’re Looking For
A qualified teacher with UK QTS
A minimum of two years’ experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 5 or 6 essential)
Strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation
Proven track record of raising standards and supporting pupil progress
A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude
Passionate about delivering engaging, inclusive learning experiences
