Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Bramhall Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £90 - £100 per day Job Duties: 1. Support teachers in delivering educational activities and lessons 2. Assist in preparing learning materials and resources 3. Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs 4. Supervise students during class and break times 5. Assist with administrative tasks such as record-keeping and classroom organisation Required Qualifications: - GCSEs in English and Maths - Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification - DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance Education: - Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths - Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Experience: - Previous experience working in a school or educational setting Knowledge and Skills: - Understanding of child development and learning processes - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a team - Basic IT skills Preferred Qualifications: - First Aid certification - Additional relevant training or qualifications in education Working Conditions: - Work in a school environment - Full-time hours, Monday to Friday - Potential for term-time only working - Opportunity for professional development and further training All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
