The Role:
In this varied position, you'll be providing estate and farm management services, delivering expert advice on landlord and tenant matters, and supporting clients with strategic rural business reviews. You'll also play a key role in emerging areas such as natural capital and rural diversification, making this a dynamic and forward-looking opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Day-to-day management of rural estates and farming operations
* Lease negotiations, rent reviews, renewals, and tenancy surrenders
* Business planning, including drafting budgets and reviewing financial performance
* Identifying funding and grant opportunities
* Preparing work specifications and appointing contractors
* Advising clients on land use, tax implications, and regulatory issues
What We're Looking For:
* MRICS qualified Rural Surveyor with relevant experience in estate management
* Strong understanding of rural business operations and agricultural tenancies
* Commercially aware, with the ability to manage projects to budget
* Confident communicator with excellent client relationship skills
* Motivated and proactive, with a genuine interest in supporting the rural economy
