Head of HR Clece Care Services (CCS) is one of the largest care providers in the South of England, operating through a network of smaller, locally focused care companies that deliver domiciliary care, reablement, supported living, and specialist services to their communities. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the Head of HR drives the people agenda for Clece Care in the South shaping a resilient, skilled, and engaged workforce across a complex, multi‑site care organisation. Key responsibilities: Provide strategic HR leadership to senior management, supporting growth, integration, and operational performance across the South. Oversee onboarding, and retention initiatives to ensure safe staffing levels and compliance with CQC expectations. Manage complex employee relations cases, including safeguarding‑related HR matters, disciplinaries and grievances with the assistance of the HR Advisor. Ensure all HR policies, procedures, and practices are legally compliant and consistently applied across all subsidiaries. Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development to strengthen leadership capability and service resilience. Oversee HR governance, including right‑to‑work checks, DBS processes, audits, and accurate HR data reporting. Drive cultural development, employee engagement, and wellbeing initiatives across a diverse, multi‑site workforce. About you: We are looking for applicants who: Have a strong background and a proven ability to lead the HR function Have experience managing complex ER cases and organisational change in a fast paced environment Have excellent communication skills Have a CIPD Qualification or equivalent experience Experience in the care sector is desirable but not essential.
