Responsibilities
* Support socialisation in the community.
* Assist with domestic care tasks (shopping, cleaning and meal preparation).
* Carry out any other reasonable requests that the employer may make from time to time.

* Active and energetic.
* A good sense of humour.
* Flexibility around hours of work and main duties.
* Caring, honest, responsible and patient.
* Reliable with good time keeping.
* Able to use own initiative and be self-motivated.
* Able to maintain confidentiality and be aware of privacy.
* An ability to develop and maintain a supportive relationship.
* Good communication and inter-personal skills.
* Must provide two satisfactory references upon request.
Requirements
* Eligible to work in the UK; employer will conduct document checks.
* Subject to an enhanced DBS check at no cost to the applicant.
* Trial period of 1 month and probationary period of up to 6 months.
Benefits & Working Conditions
* 5.6 weeks holiday per year (pro rata).
* Sick pay at SSP rate only if you qualify.
* Training provided if required, where available.
* Wages paid in arrears on a 4‑weekly basis once a valid National Insurance number has been provided.
* Personal Assistants Handbook will be issued upon commencement.
* Mandatory training identified as relevant to this post must be undertaken; failure to attend may result in offer withdrawal.
