We are recruiting on behalf of a global manufacturer of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment who is seeking skilled Resident Engineers to join their team.
As a Resident Engineer, youll work on-site at one of our customer locations, becoming an integral part of their team while handling a wide variety of technical tasks. Every day presents new challenges and opportunities to develop your skills in the dynamic world of material handling.

Role & Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring customer equipment operates efficiently
Conduct preventative maintenance checks
Provide on-site technical support and build strong customer relationships
Maintain high standards for safety, performance, and customer satisfaction
Ideal Candidate:
Experience as a vehicle technician, mechanical engineer, forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, or similar role
Experience with plant equipment, powered access, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners is desirable
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred but not essential
Comfortable using IT equipment for record-keeping and ordering
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
