We're looking for a proactive French-speaking Community Builder to help build and grow a thriving ecosystem of local online communities. In this role, you'll be instrumental in driving community engagement, identifying emerging trends, and supporting key partner initiatives across multiple content verticals-from entertainment and sports to gaming and pop culture.
You'll work cross-functionally with teams such as Community, Curation, and Growth Operations, supporting end-to-end content initiatives and helping to cultivate active, locally relevant communities. This role is ideal for someone who understands online culture deeply and enjoys connecting people around shared interests.
This is a remote role.
Community Builder Responsibilities:
* Identify and act on opportunities to accelerate community growth and engagement.
* Support the setup and onboarding of new communities in partnership with local organizations.
* Coordinate and execute live digital events (e.g., Q&As, AMAs) with high-profile individuals or organizations.
* Draft announcements and content that reflect the tone and interests of local audiences.
* Conduct research and analyze data to guide growth strategies and track success metrics.
* Gather and share feedback on user experiences and platform features to help improve onboarding and engagement.
Community Builder Requirements:
* Experience working with external partners, including pitching or managing content initiatives.
* Strong understanding of online community culture and digital trends.
* Deep cultural knowledge of your local market, including language fluency.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams.
* Interest in digital content verticals (cinema, celebrities, sports, gaming, etc.).
* Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
Bonus Points
* Experience as a content creator or curator on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or X (formerly Twitter).
* Experience managing or moderating online communities.
* Proficiency in French is required.
