Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner Location: Regional / Head Office (with travel to home sites), UK Salary: £39,000 - £45,000 Job Description: Our client, a leading specialist provider in the social care sector, is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Business Partner to join their team. This is a vital role where you will be a key guardian of organisational culture and compliance, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in residential care. The Human Resources Business Partner in this role will work closely with senior management, providing strategic HR advice while remaining hands-on with recruitment, employee relations, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring strict adherence to Safer Recruitment guidelines, including DBS checks and employment gap assessments. Develop employer branding strategies to attract high-quality Residential Support Workers and Registered Managers. Support Home Managers with complex disciplinary, grievance, and performance management issues. Implement initiatives to improve staff retention through engagement surveys and recognition programmes. Maintain Ofsted readiness by ensuring the Single Central Record (SCR) and staff files are audit-ready at all times. Draft and update HR policies tailored to the social care environment. Oversee mandatory training schedules, including Safeguarding, First Aid, and Restraint Training, ensuring 100% compliance. Identify and develop internal talent for future leadership roles within the organisation. Requirements: 3–5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within social care, healthcare, or education sectors. Deep understanding of Safer Recruitment practices and the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 (or regional equivalent). CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience in a regulated environment. High emotional intelligence, resilience, and the ability to balance commercial needs with child protection priorities.
