G4S Facilities Management are recruiting a Grounds Maintenance operative on a full-time, permanent basis based in Cheltenham. We are looking for an organised individual with a keen eye and a brilliant way with people to provide a full and comprehensive delivery of services to our high-profile client. You will act as the first point of contact for any emergencies and ensure site safety by patrolling the interior and exterior of the building and carrying out searches on staff members, visitors and vehicles. Responsibilities Execute grounds maintenance tasks in strict accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators, adhering to site-specific policies, UK health and safety regulations, and statutory requirements. Perform a diverse range of horticultural and lawn care duties, including soil cultivation, digging, meticulous weeding, precise edging, and appropriate planting techniques suitable for the local environment. Conduct comprehensive lawn maintenance, encompassing edging Maintain hand tools and light horticultural machinery, including ride- on and rotary mowers, strimmers, and hedge trimmers, Proactively identify material and resource requirements for your tasks, communicating these needs to ensure seamless service delivery Essential Knowledge of horticultural practices and techniques Proficiency in operating grounds maintenance equipment Strong Communication Full UK Driving Licence LANTRA Certification First Aid at Work Must be willing to undergo extended security clearance.
