Full time 12-month fixed term contract
Location: Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, West Midlands

We are seeking a newly graduated intern with a specific interest in analysing performance to provide analytical support and capacity to the Performance function within our office. The role will be for 12 months and you will be expected to work in the centre of Birmingham.
Responsibilities
* Provide analytical support to the Performance function.
* Analyse and interpret performance data and produce reports and visualisations.
* Assist in monitoring performance indicators of West Midlands Police.
* Conduct research into areas that impact policing and the criminal justice system.
* Present findings in clear, concise reports for senior leadership.
Qualifications and Skills
* Recent graduate with a specific interest in performance analysis.
* Knowledge of research techniques, methods and application.
* Proficient in quantitative data analysis and comfortable presenting results.
* Understanding of data quality and information governance issues.
* Proficient in standard office IT software, especially Excel and Power BI.
