How You'll Make a Difference IVC Evidensia is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Area Director to lead and support our practices across the South West region, covering Bath and Wiltshire. This is a home-based role with extensive travel, offering the opportunity to work closely with our veterinary teams on the ground while shaping the strategic direction and performance of multiple sites. As Area Director, you will play a key leadership role in delivering operational excellence, driving business performance, and supporting clinical teams to achieve outstanding patient and client outcomes. Working closely alongside the Regional Director and HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will ensure a joined-up approach to leadership, people strategy, and performance across the region. This is a highly visible and influential position, requiring strong leadership capability, commercial acumen, and the ability to engage and inspire teams across a geographically diverse area. You will partner with Practice Directors and leadership teams to implement business plans, embed a high-performance culture, and ensure alignment with IVC Evidensia's wider strategy and values. Mobilise the UK strategy within an area through facilitating best practice sharing, growing effective communication channels between practices, and supporting with the rollout of VCOs and other initiatives Oversee the operational and commercial performance of practices within your Area Attraction, retention and engagement of staff across the area Work closely with Area Support Manager, demonstrating an aligned approach to Area priorities, performance and improvements. line management of Clinical Directors Supporting with our future network planning and growth initiatives by providing strategic information and input as necessary.
