The Role of Regional Sales Manager
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will lead, coach, and develop a team of 6 Area Sales Managers across the region, each responsible for promoting a portfolio of civils products through Contractors and Builders Merchants / Civils Merchants.
You will oversee a region generating around £15M in turnover and play a key role in achieving growth targets. The Regional Sales Manager will take a hands-on approach to managing the team, supporting them with joint visits, developing key relationships, and driving sales performance across the region.
* Managing, motivating, and mentoring a team of Area Sales Managers to exceed their objectives.
* Conducting regular field visits with team members to support business development and customer engagement within Builders Merchants, Civils Merchants & Contractors.
* Tracking sales pipelines, analysing performance data, and ensuring consistent delivery of regional targets.
* Implementing strategic sales plans aligned with national objectives and identifying opportunities for growth.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior contacts across merchant networks and major contractors.
* Collaborating with internal departments to ensure alignment and maximise regional performance.
This is a people-focused leadership position where the Regional Sales Manager will act as both a coach and a strategist, setting the tone for success and maintaining strong team morale.

* Background in heavy-side or civils construction products is essential.

The Package on offer for the Regional Sales Manager
* Basic salary up to £70,000
* Uncapped £15,000 OTE (realistic year 1)
