This is a great opportunity to take the next step in your career as a Product Quality Engineer who will be responsible for enabling production to maintain and improve quality, cost & delivery performance through Quality support and approval of standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities
* Owning product quality
* Interacting with and liaising with customers
* Publishing and monitoring yield performance in line with agreed KPI's
* Quality lead for contract reviews / production readiness reviews / build reviews
* Reviewing concessions / emails / engineering change notes ensuring compliance to procedures prior to job hold release to production
* Approving Standard Operating Procedures, suitability of jigs and visual inspection aids
* Verifying and approving changes to process
* Utilising Lean Manufacturing techniques and quality tools
* Leading quality improvement activities
* Performing yield analysis and identifying/leading CI projects
Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with a degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline with PCBA experience.
Contract & Location
This role is a full time permanent contract, working 4.5 days per week, and is based at our site in Hook, Hampshire.
